CEA MD Tumbling

Recreational Tumbling Options

Ages 5+

This entry-level class introduces the fundamentals of tumbling. Athletes will focus on body awareness, proper technique, and foundational skills such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and bridges. Ideal for brand-new tumblers or those still developing consistency in basic shapes and movements.

Ages 5+

Designed for athletes who have mastered the basics in 1A, this class focuses on progressions toward round-offs and strong back walkovers/front walkovers. Emphasis is placed on control, form, and drills that prepare athletes for back handsprings.

Ages 5+

Athletes in this level are working on standing and running back handsprings. With a strong base in foundational shapes and walkovers, this class uses technique-focused drills and spotting to build clean, confident handsprings.

Ages 5+

This class is for athletes who have a solid back handspring and are now ready to connect skills and build passes. Focus includes multiple handsprings, round-off back handsprings, and introduction to tuck prep drills.

Ages 5+

Tumblers in this class are working layouts and specialty passes out of handsprings. Athletes must have clean, consistent multiple back handsprings and strong technique, as this level emphasizes power, height, and shaping for flipping skills.

Ages 5+

Our most advanced tumbling class, this level is for athletes training elite skills including standing tucks, layouts, fulls, and beyond. With a focus on power tumbling, technique refinement, and pass construction, these classes challenge athletes to reach their highest potential.
